Missional Outreach Network

The Latino population in the United States is growing rapidly, especially in Texas. In 2005 the Latino population in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex was approximately 1.5 million. By 2010, if present migration trends continue, the Latino popluation of the Metroplex will exceed 2 million. By 2015 there will be more Latinos in Texas than Anglos. Genesis Alliance see the population growth as an extraordinary opportunity to extend the love of Jesus.

Genesis Alliance trains and equips Hispanic ministers to plant churches in the Metroplex and beyond. Potential church planters are carefully screened, selected, and locally trained theologically and practically.

Sixto, that 2015 statistic (more Latinos than Anglos in Texas) is amazing. How many Latinos are in our fellowship in the Dallas-Fort Worth area? Is it 1500?

I appreciate Genesis Alliance's strong vision for sharing the gospel with this growing group in the US. The last election showed that one political party had stayed Anglo as minorities groups are growing at a fast rate in the US. In the same way, we do not want to run the risk of being an overwhemingly Anglo fellowship with minority populations growing all around us. Thank you for your work!

The Latino church in the Metroplex is about 1500 in membership in 25 congregations with a history in the Metroplex of 60 years. We know what has been done; we know the results of the last 60 years, we know the challenge and opportunity. Genesis Alliance is here to help church to plant healthy Latino churches.
