Did you ever know your the administor of the group?
  • Preston Campbell

James! I never knew you would invite that many pepole to join our group! A man from S. Africa just joined it!
  • Dianna Teel

I'm excited to listen in on Saturday and hear how it's going with Genesis Alliance.

I wish that I had more time to check in with Missional Outreach Network. I have recommended this site to others. James, thanks for all the dedication that you give to this.

Mike is greatly missed at World Radio, but God always provides. He has given us a great young man to serve as Team Leader, Ben Adkins. Ben loves the Lord, is compassionate, and is talented with Spanish and several other languages. I work with him from a distance, but everyone at the office says that this has been the easiest transition in a long time. Ben is a good listener. We hope that he'll be able to connect with the next generation of donors.

Hey James. My friend Mike Morrell told me about what is happening on your site, so I decided to come and check it out. Yes I am in Dallas so we are close. Love what you are doing here. God speed.
  • Preston Campbell

How do you add website links?
  • Carissa Figgins

My main interest? I guess I just want to learn more about bringing the love of Christ to the unchurched rather than trying to drag them to church to learn about the love of Christ.
  • Mark R. Hooper

No problem to add MON link to the MRN links page. As soon as I find out who is in charge of our website. Ha ha.
  • Preston Campbell

How do I edit my badge? All I can do is edit it but then it won't save it!
  • Preston Campbell

Go on my page & watch my video that involves The Group of Dreams OR go on recent videos and watch We Can Help (Dreams Can Change The World)!

    Hi James,

We have been at High Pointe for seven years.

    Hi James,

My main interest is to help people in churches easily and intentionally connect with people in the community - especially through volunteer opportunities. That's why I am starting Semper Vita.

Hi, I'm a tentmaking pastor in a small town setting. I found the group because I was googling for how Celebrate Recovery is being used as an outreach tool.
  • Preston Campbell

Go on The Group of Dreams and click on the link leading to my new website for it!

What is the true meaning of Christmas? Don't explain all the Santa thing & stuff like that. I know what the story of Joseph & Mary is about, but what is the true meaning of Christmas? Ever noticed it has the word Christ in it? What I'm guessing is that it is a day the Jesus was born & being thankful that Herod didn't get Him. Just imagane what it would be like if Herod got a hold of Him. What would life would be like without our Saivior - Christ.

This is a little long, but you will like it.I am glad to be back. When I arrived on Monday around 5pm, Aunt Lucy looked very thin, and puny. I had prayed off and on during my trip(5 hours) that God would be with me so I would say and do the things that would help her.All the nurses were very pleasant, and the doctor was very nice. They did not release her on Monday ,she was in A fib. The next day I arrived at the hospital around 6am. They released her around 1pm on Tuesday to the Next Step Rehab Center, but there are a few things that happened first. Around 9am she decided she was ready to prepay for her funeral and she also needed to change her bank accounts to take someone off(and this has to be done at the bank in person). and she wanted me to get her a power of attorney form. So like me I just started calling and the blessings from God starting to shower. First I called the bank and spoke to Xene (accounts) I explained the situation(that the other owner on the checking account was taking advantage of my great-aunts money. So she said she would call me back to see if there was anyway she could help me. So then I was off to the Funeral Home. I met with Art and he said he could meet us at the Rehab center and take care of this. Xene from the bank called me back and said she would meet us also at the nursing home. ( I was smiling now) So I got back to the Hospital and then My Aunt Lucy was hungry for Francos. (mexican food) She wanted 3 tacos, she has not eaten in 8 days. Thank goodness for Laren's GPS. She ate 2 of them and they were huge. She wanted to go to the rehab by Ambulance,so we arranged that, She stated" She might as well go 1st class." and I said well its your money, you might as well use it on what you want.
  • Teresa Riley

So to wrap up this great story, Xene and Art came by and we got the bank account changed to Her only and me as a signer.(just in case), recieved a 1500.00 discount off the funeral and The nursing home had the durable power of Attorney paperwork there and help us fill them out and had them notarized. What a day. A good day. We both thanked God and the blessed workers in the community of San Angelo that really helped an elderly lady in need. Then Aunt Lucy wanted a sonic burger and she ate the whole thing.
  • Teresa Riley

I had to send the story in 2 parts .

Hay James the chilli cook off was great. I set with Kevin and his wife. Then afterward me and Brandon had a chance to fellowship for a little while. I look forward to seeing you tomaorw. I feel the call of GOD to assist you. So you can devote more time to the ministry. I would love to be your assitant. If you have room to bring me on board. I would be greatly blessed to be of maximum service to you. It would bring me great joy to lighten your load so you can devote more time to your pastorial duties. Please pray and consider this. I feel our Father calling me to stand with you. As you build High Pointe for the future.

Hello, I added you to my friend list, I wanted to know about you if you are the member of church of christ. please keep correspondance with me if not try to know about What is church of christ through me we will study the bible properly
  • Phillip Smith

No, sir, worshipped at home with my wife. She has not been up to par lately
so we prayed and talked. We were not able to attend our bible study with
Gary and Linda this evening, either.

Being retired (except from "honey do's"), I can be available most any day
and time convenient for you. We can do coffee, lunch or whatever. I would
be honored to get to know you aside from the pulpit.

Let me know when you are best available. I need help with this site, too!

    In Christ,

    Phillip

Probably not finished with photo thingy just yet. Deanie, my wife, is still trying to get the perfect pose. Hum. "How do you make a silk purse out of a sow's ear"?

Hey James. I started back at Wilshire as college minister in August 2009. It's been a fun ride so far. The practice is building slowly but surely. My partners and I are working on a few leads to bring in more business. It has also been a fun ride. Yes, Amanda is done....she is now a Chemistry prof at OC. I wrote about it on the "introduce yourself" discussion. This is a great website... I've already referred several friends. Take care.
  • Joshua Nichols

Thanks James, that means a lot. Amanda is really loving her job. God really blessed us....she got her dream job immediately out of grad school. I'lll plan on starting a counseling group. I need to find a pic. Do you know of any good sites that lets you use their pics without copyright infringement? Take care.
  • Tanner King

Sadly, I can't make it to Garland this weekend. I'm tied up with two different ministries Friday night and Saturday morning.

I wish I could go to CT, though!

my whole page is black.............. I guess I should update. I have sent one today and will work on the rest on Friday after I finish the power point and attendance.
  • Lynn S. Nored

    James,
I just commented on Miguel's post. What do you think of what I said?
  • John Dobbs

I will certainly do all I can to get folks to come. It will be well publicized for sure. I also want to chat with you about timeframe... don't know if you could give us a Sunday ... but maybe could come a day early ...we'll talk about it soon.
  • Katherine Gould

Thanks for the welcome and gift! I am still trying to navigate my way around, but am excited to be a part of this network! :)
  • Katherine Gould

Btw, I came into contact with this site through your tweets...and I would love to share more about China!! Things are going great here and I am truly blessed to be a part of what God is doing! :)
  • John Dobbs

I'll work on that. Sounds good.
  • John Dobbs

A group on music and worship would be great. Every individual thinks differently about music. It's hard to pick the BEST Hillsong CD ... I usually think the newest one is best. That would be Faith+Hope+Love. However, This Is Our God is among my favorites that I keep in my truck. I generally have all the Hillsong CDs on an iTunes playlist and so I hear them all.
  • John Dobbs

What am I most passionate about in ministry ... wow... that should be an easy question to answer, right? My first impulse is to say Preaching ... but I also love sharing ideas and conversation. Essentially my only talent is running my mouth. ;)
  • Richard Blaisdell

    James,
The elders at BRCC said that the date (April 9/10) is ok for the Spiritual Gifts seminar. We've got it on the calendar. Let me know again what all we need to do to prepare for it. Prayerfully looking forward to your return,
    Richard Blaisdell.
Is the best way to communicate with you through MON?
  • Leslie E. Ferguson, Jr.

John and I were college roomates and have been friends since he was 17 and I was 18. We have had the blessing of working together on a number of projects and living close to one another for a number of years here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. His wife and I are also distant cousins...
  • Katherine Gould

Well, I have never actually met John in person...but I still consider him a good friend...I "met" John, along with people like Steve Tucker, Brad Palmore, Brian Nicklaus, Chris Gallagher, Cecelia Tanner, Paula Harington, etc. about a year and a half ago through twitter, blogs and John's online "coffee house" and they have been a tremendous blessing! Many of them, including John even helped send me to China on the first trip and some are supporting me now! It is amazing the community that has been created and I have been extremely blessed by it!! I love John and really hope I get to meet him and the others one day. We were supposed to meet at Tulsa last year before God called me to China...and obviously won't be there again this year due to being in China. Some day! :)
