Hi Chris. It is great to have you on the Missional Outreach Network! If you go to the "Forum" tab in the menu bar and click on "Getting Started," you will find instructions on introducing yourself and changing your profile. I see that you already got your picture up. Great!
Feel free to join a discussion or group (see "Groups" in the menu bar), invite a friend (see "invite" in menu bar), or start a group or discussion. It's great to have you aboard!
Chris, I've heard a lot about you, and hope to be able to meet you. I am friends with Gailyn and a big fan of all things missional and of church planting. I met Bret Wells at the Mission Alive coaching sessions. Charles and I had a class together at HUGSR and have spent a bit of time together. And Hobby Chapin and I are developing a good friendship. He is going to start contributing regularly to this site some of the stories and strategies his new plant will be engaged in.
Anyway, it is good to have our paths cross here. I hope that this site and the people on it can be a blessing to you. Your contribution here would certainly be a great blessing to us. So glad that you joined!
Hi Chris! This is Zack Blaisdell. Great to meet you on here. I have read your blog quit a few times. Your a very good writer! Keep up the good work there! How are things with you and your family? I hope you and your family are all well. How are things with the church there in Burleson? I hope and pray the church is growing both spiritually and numerically. I'm in Lubbock, TX now attending Sunset International Bible Institute. It is a two year program. I am in the first year. I am praying and looking to God to give me direction about where to go after finishing Sunset (in May 2010). I am loving school!
Chris, God bless you, your family, and the work y'all are involved with! Grace and Peace.
Hey Chris. Glad that you were able to join us last night for the Twitter webinar. Hope you found it helpful/encouraging. Looking forward to you doing a webinar for us on connecting with the community!
Sure, Chris. I'm mindful of you, and have said a prayer for you just now. For communal Scripture reading and prayer, have you tried David Watson's 3 column Discovery Bible Study method?
Also, I would love to have you come out to our Spiritual gifts seminar this weekend. You would be welcome to bring anyone from your church out as well. I think that we could help one another and encourage one another.
God's blessings on you. May this year be more ups than downs. But most importantly, may you sense God's presence with you throughout the year.
Chris, if you will write up a blog post about Missional Monks with links to your various podcasts in the post, I'll send this out to MON and list as a resource on the site.
