Hi Dalana. If you want to have people join a particular group, it is best to go to the group page and "invite more" from there. This saves them an extra step. When they join a group, they also join the network. Good question.

Well Rebecca might not make it to class today,so I suggested we might go hang clothes.

I went to Garths page and then looked for it on my page. I clicked on the title i think and the space opened up. Then you can drag all your items ex photos,latest activity and move them around. If that doesn't work James has a new discussion on how to get your page in order.

Dalana, Linda shared the story on the food pantry group about the young boy who needed clothes today that you guys helped. This is God's work!

Dalana, could you start sharing some stories and numbers of the clothes closet ministry under that group like Linda is doing in the food pantry group? This can help others be encourage and inspired by what is happening in this ministry. It will also give me some stories to draw upon and share with others. We would love to hear these!

Dalana, Christie Pritchett has offered to volunteer .I thought the clothes closet would be great. She would need a ride. Deneen,Linda and I are doing a bible study with her.

Hi Delana. Was so glad you were there last week when that family came in & had such need. Your work truly blesses many people!

Hi Delana. I was wondering if your girls would be interested in helping Saturday mornings from 1045-1200 with babysitting while the Women United in Recovery Group meets. I will be out of town for 2 weeks starting Dec. 30th so I need to get someone to take my place. The would be able to get a few bucks for it. Or if they are not able maybe they know someone that could?

I will find out & let you know..if we could get a group of girls/people to do this & rotate it would be great. I would like to have 2 people doing child care so if someone needs to use the restroom one person can do that & the other stay with the group...

Probably $15. Does that sound about right for an hour & 1/2?

Hi Delana. That would be the total amount. Some of these women are indigent & in dire circumstances. I fed one child last week that had not eaten that day & we gave out groceries to 2 families. The Church has agreed to pay for child care while I am out of town. The amount of children will vary week to week. The first week I had 1 child & last week I had 5.

Delana this Saturday & next is covered. I need coverage for the 1st 2 weeks of Dec. when I am out of town. If your girls are busy do they have any suggestions of other teens I might try?

Hi Dalana. If you login to our website and go to the Spiritual gifts results, you can find all of the people with the gift of evangelism (Click here). This would be a good place to start for follow-up studies with the clothes closet. Dan Rodriquez, Mark Dexter, and Al Vilches, and obviously Carlos Lopez are some of those who are most interested in doing these studies. For the women, Deneen Christian, Teresa Riley, Rebecca Hope, and Donna Hannah are also interested in this.

That's a good idea...when I go to set up the card the wording will come to me then. I will probably run it past a few people to see what we can come up with. I can't remember but did you want your name on it too?

I loved the Shack. I think a lot of it may be about expectations. Ex: when I saw "The 5th Element" I hated it, bc I thought it was going to be a serious sci-fi movie. It's like a wierd, comedy sci-fi movie. Later, I saw it again, and knowing it was goofy going into it, I was able to like it the 2nd time.
So it may just be that it's not what you were hoping for. If you'd like to talk about it, just call me.

i found a spanish bible for 1.29 each we have to order a case of 48. This bible is comparable to the New American Standard Bible. Here is what it looks like and the link.

Dalana, that is wonderful news about Sam's friend! Does anyone have a picture of this? Also, will Garrett come with you'll to church? Do you think that you guys could ask his parents if they would be interested in a Bible study? I would be happy to meet them and study with them. How exciting!
