Mike, it was nice meeting you the other day.
  • Lynn S. Nored

    Mike,
You know how it is with this postmodern generation---no respect; informality rules.
  • Lynn S. Nored

    Mike,
Martha and I left the US on Oct 17th and we will return this Sunday. My last class at South Pacific Bible College is this Friday. Technology wise I have a discussion blog for the class (anyone can comment, however) at
    www.postmodernevangelism.blogspot.com

NZ is a great country to visit. The South Island is more varied, however.

I would like to know how the Genesis radio project is going.

    Great to hear from you.
  • Sixto Rivera

No, but I want you in it. I'll get there...
  • James Nored

Hey Mike. I'm sorry that I missed you on Saturday. I did have a good lunch and conversation with Mac and Mary Owen. Great people!
  • James Nored

Hi Mike. When I get a break in my class, I'll give this a listen. Thanks!
  • Wilmer Christopher Rivera

Hey Mike. I have officially joined! I need to keep listening to the radio programs! Please don't block me Ha ha.
  • James Nored

Mike, I'm getting static trying to listen to your "World Radio Latino US." Is this working for you?
  • James Nored

Mike, I didn't know that you had a KC connection. How do you know Greg and Roger and the gang?
  • James Nored

It is a small world! How long ago was that? Was I still in Liberty, I wonder?
  • Lynn S. Nored

    Hello Mike,

Martha and I returned from NZ on Nov. 19th, but I still have papers/finals etc. to grade.

What is the Current status of the Hispanic Radio program for the DFW area??
  • James Nored

Mike, I put the information that you sent my father about the hispanic broadcast in our bulletin today. Can you post this information in the World Radio group for people to know about and celebrate?
  • James Nored

Mike, yes, you are now famous being "featured" on this site! :)

Being featured just highlights you on the page so that people take a look at your profile. I am swtiching in and out various people who are featured to help people get to know others on the site.
  • Teresa Riley

Thanks Mike............... I am feeling a little better. Can't stay on computer too long. I praise God for the quick healing. Ralph.really takes good care of me too.Congrats for being on the air now in Dallas.
  • James Nored

Mike, we'll deal with outreach and mission for Harvest Sunday the 2-4th Sundays of Jan. and the first Sunday of Feb. Are you not available for any of these dates?
  • James Nored

Okay, thanks Mike. I'm trying to pull together all the schedules. Do you think Mac might be available on that same day?

Check out this news story I posted. Pretty interesting.
  • Jorge Daniel Garcia

Nice to see you in this group. I hope I get to know you better. Have a great new year!!
  • Mike Eppinette

On Jan 4 and 5 Sixto and Wilmer Rivera joined me on a trip to New Orleans. The city is recovering and still involved in demolition. Some rebuilding is underway. The population is now 10% Latino which was 1% prior to Katrina. I have never seen an opportunity as ripe as the situation we found in New Orleans. The is no connectivity or community among the recent arrivals. They wait for radio announcements for any Latino activity. I will continue to update you on this facinating field of harvest.
  • Trey Finley

Mike--thanks for joining up with the Group Life page. I look forward to hearing your insights on how the missional impulse is shaping group life.
  • Teresa Riley

It was nice to see you again. I am praising God that you were able to come and speak to High Pointe. Your talk was very inspirational.I have heard lots of chatter about it,but the best thing is that it gets people thinking about how they can be evangelist in the community, the church and in the world. Thanks so much. I will get with James, about the directory to see what would be the best way to do this. I hope Friday is not too late.
  • Sharon Dunlap

Melanie is on this website under Women United in recovery & I think the celebrate recovery website as well. Her last name is Campbell & her picture is poste. We so much appreciate all the prayers in her behalf.

Still working on the directory.................. I will shoot for an answer on Monday.

  • James Nored

Hey Mike. Glad you got back home. Spend some time with the family--I'm sure they really missed you. When you catch your breath, we'll look forward to a World Radio update!
  • Marvin Diaz

Hi Mike, I'm Marvin from Highland Oaks Church of Christ. We meet actually Sunday at church, you gave the sermon which I personally thought it was hopeful for the Hispanos! It was great having you there, I've heard only good things of you from brother Sixto. And I'm also glad that you are helping us to promote the big event we are planning to have any time soon at HOCC! Take care and God Bless you always!
  • Danny Rodriguez

Hi Mike, It's been a while since I've checked my messages. I've been trying to find the spanish radio broadcast, on the days and times you told me. I haven't been able to tune in. Did I get the times and dates wrong? Please let me know. Hope to see you again real soon. Take care!
  • James Nored

Mike, I added the .pdf of your World Radio newsletter to our website. You can see the link and our new page on World Radio here.

Do you have a picture I can use for our website? Also, we definitely need to get you on Twitter (@WorldRadio). I can help with this. Also, a short promo video that can be uploaded to Vimeo and/or Youtube would be great. It could be embedded onto websites. Let me know if you need some help with this. We could also make this the reason for the meeting with Sixto, Wilmer and the gang on social networking.
  • Teresa Riley

There is a new member that I want you to meet. Her name is Deborah and she is a Celebrate Recovery leader. I went to her group last week to check things out.
  • Marvin Crowson

Great to hear from you. Sure enjoyed David last weekend. Your thoughts? Do you attend (when home) at Forsythe? We are very appreciative of this congregation. We're headed to Colorado Thursda am.
  • James Nored

Hey Mike. We are looking forward to a little White's Ferry Road and CR infusion this weekend. Where will you be?

Thanks for letting me know about Mac's snake bite. I was able to talk with him about this.
  • James Nored

Hi Mike. I saw your post on World Radio. This is awesome news! Can you repost this in the World Radio group under a new discussion? This will allow me to hit the "Share" button and feed it into Facebook as well. Just start a new discussion and re-post in this discussion, along with the pictures. So glad to hear about this!
  • James Nored

Mike, that is great to hear! I'll look forward to getting to know him. Those World Radio updates are great. I can spread them virally on the Internet and place in our bulletin. Keep it up!
  • Carolyn Jo Gower

Mike, I'm proud of you and happy for you too! I'm also proud of Donna and all of your children...God bless!
  • Piero Drago

Mike it is a pleasure to share the plans of God with you.
That God this always first in our life.
    Blessings
  • James Nored

Hey Mike. I'm sick this week, unfortunately. However, we had a great Twitter webinar last Thursday. The Zorap (multimedia chat) technology works great! I'll be happy to help you guys with this. Sixto (and you, if you want to be seen and heard) will need a webcam and a headset microphone. You can find these both at Best Buy relatively cheaply if you don't have them. Let me know if you need help with getting these.
  • James Nored

Mike, what will be the subject/content of Sixto's webinar? If you are firm on the times you gave me, we can start getting the word out.
  • Preston Campbell

Go on my page then join The Group of Dreams. (IMPORTENT!)
  • James Nored

A microphone is hereby awaded to Mike Eppinette for his work and speech for the recent Genesis Alliance Vision Casting last Saturday. Good job, Mike!
  • Preston Campbell

Hey Mike! I never been with somone in the Genesis Allience before so your my first one!
  • Chuck Huckaby

Thanks for creating the Celebrate Recovery group. How does CR relate to your work at "Genesis Alliance" and church planting? I'm asking because our church is basically putting on CR as a "gift" to the community (we're a small town setting). While we hope some will join our fellowship as a result, I believe we'll be serving members/attendees at other churches and we plan to use volunteers from other churches if they can work within our context.
  • James Nored

Mike, you can now use MON to update your Facebook status. Please try these things out:
    1. Go to your My Page. At the top is a status update. Type in a status, and then click the Facebook box. This will send your status out to MON and out to Facebook.

    2. You can post any existing blog post, picture, video, etc. on MON on Facebook by clicking the Facebook icon under each post, picture, etc.

    3. Go to the Genesis Alliance group page. Enter in a discussion update. Then, when you post it, click the Facebook icon and it should post on your Facebook page.

Can you try these out? This is an awesome feature that can really help spread the word on GA and other great missional works. Thanks!
  • James Nored

Mike, you can click here to quickly set up an event for the Genesis Alliance dinner. From there you can post this to Facebook, and it will also allow you to pull invitations from your email address book. It is really a great tool.

If you post it, I'll also broadcast the dinner out to all of our MON members and put on my Facebook and the MON Facebook page.

Richard Blaisdell from the Buckingham Rd. Church of Christ in Garland is up here at High Pointe today checking out our food pantry. There are a ton of Latinos who come through this. I will set up a meeting with us together to talk about GA.
  • James Nored

Mike, you need to get some sleep! Where are you this weekend?

Monday on MON is coming soon, buddy. Thanks for the great idea.
  • James Nored

Hey Mike. I saw that you tried to call today. You can call me at 1 PM tomorrow and catch me then when we are driving. Looking forward to talking with you!
  • James Nored

Hi Mike. Congratulations on joining Continent of Great Cities! I know that you will do a great job for them. How are you and your family?
  • James Nored

Would you like to start a Continent of Great Cities group on MON?
