James, thanks so much! Our unit in the hospital is very small and we are all so close to each other. This has been devastating and breaks my heart along with my friends and her family. This has been extremely hard to deal with.
  • Jason

Thanks James, my main interest is to help spread the Word of God to people in the world all over the world.

Well, I'm alone and I need some people who really want to be my friends. Nobody I seem to be around in my life at the moment know's how to truly be a good friend. I have a lot I want to say about myself. I'll write about in the forum.
  • Jason

Ah, I didn't noticed that filling out the last name part of the form. I had a ning account before so I just used the one I had. Didn't really look over it too much. I added my last name.

Well, about having friends. I attend at the moment BCS chuch of christ in Bryan College Station Texas. It's an hour away from where I am, at the moment I'm currently living in the country near Caldwell. Not only do I go to Worship services I go to all the bible studies I can and hang out with all the other College Christians because it's near a University. I've visited they're homes, hung out with them, fellowship, go to bible studies and all such. But no one as ever come to visit me here in near Caldwell. So how can they really be my friends? Maybe I don't understand what it is to be a friend? But I thought I did. Right now I'm going through a rough time, that's my own fault.
  • Jason

I don't think I've invited anyone over, though I just thought want to come visit me sometime.
  • Jason

But today I realize that they are my friends, just not like I want them to be. Anyway, I'm leaving home because my parents think I'm crazy and they don't understand me. They want to get me help with some worldly person because they think what happened isn't real. They think that God really wouldnt do what I said he did. I'm not lying to you all of this is true. It's not all my fault that I got in this position but Part of it is. I'm sorry I got myself into it Im not sure how to get out. I need help making good choices. I wasn't always like this.
  • Jason

Hey James, sorry for that. I'm just really stressed. My family and I our not on good terms because we both hurt each other. Anyway, my parents think I'm crazy for some of the things I told them. But it's not true. I know what I experienced. They think that a wordly woman is going to fix my problems. They don't know how to go to God's people and ask for help, which I have done. They get jealous when I talk to other Christians about my problems instead of them. I won't talk to them because they don't understand me and we always get in an argument. I was upset when I wrote my last comment because of issues here. Anyway I will keep you in my prayers. Thanks, Jason

Really? Your going on computer/INTERNET withdraw for a till next year????
  • Zack Blaisdell

Hi James! Zack Blaisdell here. I just finished my studies at Sunset about 3 weeks ago. I have moved back to Plano and living with my parents. Lubbock is a pretty cool place. I missed home a lot so I am very excited about being back home in the DFW metro area. My Dad is going to have a heart valve replaced on Monday. Please be praying for him. He gets tired a lot, so he is ready to have this procedure done. Hopefully in a couple of months he'll be good as new.Once Dad is back on his feet I hope to figure out exactly what I want do in life. Campus ministry/ young adults are a growing passion of mine. Also community outreach, church involvement, and spiritual formation. I hope to focus on one of those, or any combination of those. James, God bless you, your family, and the work y'all are doing in Mckinney. Grace and Peace.

Hi, my calling at present is to write and lead teen bible studies. So, that is what I am doing. My own kids are in college and beyond. I do have a desire to see my studies translated, and I hope to have one of them in Japanese by then end of the year.
  • Darrell MacLearn

Thanks James, - may not need the video. Ran with some other ideas yesterday and all may be well. Church planting is going incredible. We are having a blast making disciples that make disciples and planting churches that plant churches. We need to get coffee sometime.
  • Rod Forbess

    Hi James,
Our next preachers' meeting is scheduled for Tue., July 13. It would be great to see you. However, I won't be there as I will be on vacation (Lord willing). My wife and I were fairly close to you about 3 weeks ago. We attended a conference for supporters of the Cochabamba, Bolivia mission team at the DFW Hilton Executive Center near the airport. If you would want to give a presentation on what you're doing at the preachers' meeting you should give Roger a call. We are always looking for presenters at the meeting. I think your Mission Outreach Network is great. I've watched over the months and it has grown and is still growing in membership. Have a great evening. Rod

    Thanks for welcoming me!
  • Mike Shelton

We've certainly enjoyed having Mike here. My role is to take care of IT and A/V support at Continent.
  • Joshua Nichols

It went well. Thanks for asking. Kingfisher is very nice community and the church was very friendly. I hope I can go back some day. How are things in DFW area?
  • T&J 5-20-09

    Hello!
our music is christian based and as people of God our desire is to reach out to those who are lost in the world!!
  • Brian Russell

Thanks! Yes, I follow you on Twitter and saw that you posted a video on here the other day, and decided to sign up. I work for a missions organization (Pioneers) as the web content coordinator, and I'm always looking for new places to talk to people about missions!
  • Joshua Nichols

Sorry James. I've been putting all my spare time into the seminar. It is almost ready. After Saturday, I plan to pick back up on my blog and MON because they are long overdue. Hope things are well with you and Becky and the kiddos.
  • Joshua Nichols

Yes. First one. Outreach is the approach we are taking with this one. We really targeted the community Wilshire is in, but most those preregistered are from the OKC area in general. Some are driving a distance though. That is good. Be praying it goes well.
  • Jay Jarboe

James, It is an honor and a privilege. I have great respect for God's work through Sixto and Genesis Alliance. Pray that I might be used to glorify the Lord!
  • Zack Blaisdell

Hi James! How are things with you and your family? How are things with High Point? I hope and pray all is well. How is your Doctor of Ministry degree going? I hope and pray that's going well too. I finished school at Sunset in May and am back in the area. My Dad had heart valve replacement surgery. He's doing well. How is the college ministry going? I want to apologize to you for not accepting your invitation last summer to intern with y'all. I had made plans just a few days prior to learning about High Point's plans for that. Campus Ministry and Young Adults are still a passion of mine that I hope to pursue if an invitation ever came my way.
James, God bless you, your family, and the ministry y'all do at High Point. Grace and Peace.

The site must have uploaded the pic automatically. I have not selected one yet:)
  • Joe Palmer

James can you send me that file in an editable version so I can print some out.
  • K S

James, I believe the text box you setup is at the top, center of the homepage, but I wanted to verify that that was the text box. Am I correct about that?

Also, you said I can do fuller editing by clicking the manage tab. What would I need to do after clicking the "manage" tab to access the editing features for the text box?

    Thanks.
  • Nicholas Tang

Thanks for the add James, will explore the site and hopefully will soon contribute some thoughts.

Dear Brother James. lovely Greetings to you . since I joined your network, i have been reading your blogs and articles , I knew that you are brilliant and have much experience in lord's work though you are in young age ( you looks like 30 or 35 old . am i right ?) .
I started my preaching at my age of 40 only. I lost many years of my life without joy in lords work ).
Nowadays, we should reach young or new generation and create them as servants or leaders for Christ .
I am surprised to see Bro.Jayaraj is doing great work in his young age though he is facing many problems from lack of sources .now I am working at two congregations and very active in lord's work with Bro.Jayaraj . and also I am teaching in India School of Evangelism weekly twice .
please convey my greetings to your Dad and say him that I appreciate him for he led you in His work . I also read a blog on your website ( about missional mom and dad) yes, if every dad or mom will be missional, our next generation will be continue God;s work .
please continue to pray for my family and preachers here . please pray for work in India.

    Greetings James,
Hobby seems to be doing well. Getting very busy trying to keep up with all the people he is helping, but doing a fine job from what I can see.

Hey, thanks for the St. Patrick diddy. It is perfect timing. Tonight we are talking about our mission as is illustrated in Acts. Time permitting they will hear about St. Patrick as further illustration.

    Hi James
Glad talking to you, is good to know that you already sent a short group to Peru before.
For now, I'm not part of any church. In my case I manage a travel agency in Peru as a tour leader or travel consultant. I have experience traveling with many groups around the country.
Maybe in the future if you need information about spiritual and cultural places to visit like Machu Picchu, Titicaca Lake, Colca Canyon, Nazca Lines, Amazon Jungle and more, please let me know, so I can prepare a tailor tour for you during your visit in Peru.
    Much Success
    Victor

    Hello James!
Sorry, I'm not technically savvy enough to know where else to put this information, so I just replied back to your comment. :)
My husband and I attend Highland Oaks Church of Christ in Plano with our two daughters. We have always been focused on missions, even before we met - obviously God working to bring us together there. We have had opportunities to go on short-term mission trips before, but mostly our involvement has been in prayer and financing. Fortunately, I think that in many ways the US has become a mission field in itself, partly due to the nature of the post-Christian culture and partly because we are increasingly multicultural. The world is coming here. What an exciting time to be alive! God is truly good.
Thanks for your kind welcome. I look forward to many interesting discussions to come!
  • Adrienne Caughfield

Hello! Honestly, I have no idea how Lance found out about MON. I'll ask him. :)
  • Craig Young

    Hello James,

I have been a missionary in Marseille for over 20 years now. My two daughters were born and have grown up here. I have a very close connection with Phil Jackson MRN European coordinator, and have spent some time with some of the European teams that have MRN connections. Appreciate your site and mission focus!

    Together in the mission,

    Craig Young
