Sean, it is so good to see you join this site. I know that you have a powerful story to tell about your decision to go on LST this past year. I was hoping to interview you for a Harvest Sunday video about this experience.

So, how are you doing? We so much appreciate you and your family's heart for God and others. Do you have digital picture of yourself that you can upload? This helps us build a sense of community and trust. Thanks!

Hey Sean. Thanks for joining. And thank you for being willing to do a video interview about your Let's Start Talking trip! I will send you some questions to think through and write out some answers to. Then, we'll set a time for the filming, where you can talk about this. I can't wait to share your story!

Sean, I saw that you want to become a missionary. What a wonderful heart and desire! God has really touched you, and he can use you to reach others in powerful ways.

Hey Sean! I saw you joined the Young Adults group, that's cool, so you want to be a missionary?
  • Wilmer Christopher Rivera

That's great, where do you want to go?

I'm looking to do work among American Hispanics. Hispanics that are of 2nd and 3rd Generation here in the States.

I'm currently working at Duncanville Church of Christ, you may have heard of it. I'm Ministry Liaison among the Anglo and Hispanic groups.

My mission is to plant Healthy American Hispanic, churches. My dad is director of Genesis Alliance, a Church Planting organization that plants Healthy Latino Churches.

I also just graduated from OC, with a major in Bible and Ministry. Are you in college somewhere right now?
  • Wilmer Christopher Rivera

Ok, cool. Where would you like to go do Missions?
  • Wilmer Christopher Rivera

Why not here? There's a lot of mission work here that you can do, and you don't even have to change languages. Hispanics are 50 million already here and growing and 50% of them are open to the Gospel. You don't have to go far to reach out. You can go and also go here.
