Sixto, I will certainly add that request to my prayer list. Curt Cooper is my grandson and has helped me be made aware of the need to plant Latino churches.

Sixto, we will certainly do so. I'm sure that this group will lift this thought up in prayer and ask God to bring forth more hispanic church planters. Thanks for putting this on our hearts.

Could you join me on praying for church planters for DFW, Houston, and New Orleans? The need to plant Latino churches is grwing; therefor the need of church planters is becoming greater. If you know of a good pontential church planter, lease, let me know.

Leatrice,I too feel inadequate in sharing Christ with others. I find that odd since I am a very outgoing person. But my day came when I could not find anyone to do a bible study. I had to act because I just can't leave a request not answered. So I came home and prayed. The next day I asked Deneen to go with me and later on we involved Linda Hardin also. We all learned that there are a lot of opportunities out there for those that are ready. We all really enjoyed it. So even if you have to grab a friend or call the office to help it is truly a blessing. James has a set of 8 books that make it easy to go thru with someone. Let me know if you would like to have a set and I will get them to you.

Thank you Donna for sharing the feeling of fear in sharing Christ with others. that is a big one for me as well. I live in a senior living apartment complex, and see so many around me with whom I want to share, but I feel inadequate in knowing how to go about it. My prayers include God's help in showing me ways to do that.

As far as praying for the lost, I begin by praying for ones in my family, ones in my neighborhood, and for ones I meet along the way. A part of my prayers include asking God to help me be aware of the many opportunities that He puts in my path and that I readily respond to them. I have to continually ask God to take away my spirit of fear which causes me to feel inadequate, which then causes me to do little or nothing in sharing God's gift.

Bob Renfro sent this message on Wednesday. "Leatrice's daughter Lynn who lives in Little Rock, AR is in serious condition and needs our prayers for her recovery. She is in the hospital in Little Rock and is in semi-coma due to diabetic shock. Her blood sugar has been stabilized but her electrolytes are not what they should be; it has also been determined she has a staph infection in her nose. Leatrice and her other two daughters, Laura and Gloria traveled to Little Rock Monday (12/22/08). Please pray for Lynn and the rest of the family." Latrice, we love you and pray God's strength and love be upon you and your family.

Prayer is always a blessing to me. Some ideas about methods of prayer (e.g. "arrow" prayers, more concentrated prayers, what time works best for others to pray, etc. Share our ideas, please.
