Dear Brother in Christ,

Greetings to you from church of Christ, Avanigedda. We hope and pray that you are all well and working happily for the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in His kingdom. We feel happy it is a great privilege to share our work  with you dear brethren in Christ.

Brother, my name is M. Chandra Sekhar, serving the church of Christ at Avanigedda in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh., and South India last 15 years. I thank God so much for He gives us a great privilege to preach and teach His word in our region. We receive good response from our people. God is continuously blessing our efforts.

We thank God again for He has allowed us a great privilege to fellowship and work with you as your fellow servants in His kingdom. I know that you brethren are very faithful, spiritual and prayerful. We always appreciate you dear brethren for your good heart, interest and zeal for the WORK in United States and other countries on the globe. Truly, your love, spiritual and financial efforts enable your brethren to do great work for our Lord Jesus Christ. I know that you brethren are wonderful, thoughtful and kind towards the Lord's people in the world. We appreciate you brethren again that you strive always for excellence, bear burdens and living as Christ-like example to lead people to the abundant life now that is found in Jesus and to eternal salvation. We thank God so much again for you dear brethren and all your efforts.

We are continually praying for you all brethren for your health and welfare. I know that you and brethren stand firm in your faith to imitate Christ Jesus in every aspect of your lives. Truly, you are always expressing your love for the Lord in your daily life. We appreciate you brethren again for your zeal and faithful work to spread the love of Christ there and in India. Truly, we see Jesus in you as you are always trying to helping and furnishing the needs of other people. We thank you brethren again for your encouragement and prayers.

Brother, I would like to give brief information about us and the work we are doing for our Lord Jesus Christ. I am preaching to a congregation at Avanigedda in Krishna District, AP, South India. The membership of congregation is 35 and I also started the new work at Barrankula in Krishna District. There are 15 people attending the Sunday worship. I am also visiting the surrounding places Mopidevi, Challapalli, Repalle and Koduru etc and preaching the glorious gospel of Christ.  Please   encouraging and helping us in evangelism.

We continue strengthening our brethren in the faith in the light of God's word and we study His word with new families here. I thank God so much again for our brethren who serve their fellow man and help in their afflictions. We thank God again for He gave us a great privilege to set a part for His purpose and transform into the likeness of Christ through obeying, serving, honor, and glorify God in every aspect of our lives.

We are struggling very much to do His work in our region. I hope that you brethren can understand our situation. I would like to work through by you or your church. I Please pray for us. We look forward to hearing for you brethren. You are in our thoughts and prayers here. Please greet all for us. Thanking you.

Brother, your help is urgently needed in this work of evangelism.  I respectfully ask for your prayers, add to here Lord’s work [A State of Andhra Prdesh in India ].

Yes, Charles, we are attempting to help people see that God has an impact upon their daily lives and eliminate the sacred/secular divide.

As to discerning the issues in the workplace, I sought to do this by: 1) watching a lot of news and reading magazines and online newspapers; and 2) listening to our members and asking them questions. In several of the sermons, I actually interviewed our members about the challenges that they were facing in the workplace. So there was the spoken message, a clip from The Office, and an interview, to try to connect with people on several levels.

Thanks, Charles! Anyone who calls me brilliant immediately goes to the top of my favorite people list. :) So, what did you like about The Office series? Just the concept, or some of the specific content?

I wish that I had not been too late for doing a Seinfeld series, my all time favorite TV show. It might have been hard to apply, however. The Christian life is not about nothing--or is it? :)

Hey Charles. I just saw your review on Neil Cole's book, Organic Leadership, in the Christian Chronicle. Congrats!

I am glad you have joined the Group Why Do We Do Church the Way We Do Church. Since you are a church planter, there is a lot of information on that group that shows the history of some of the traditional practices we have vs the real biblical imperatives.

I would particularly like to hear your comments on the Lord's Supper since you will not be so constrained by our past traditional practices. Let me know what you think.

Charles, after you add your "about me" section, you can add the RSS feed of, say, your blog.

By the way, if you have not yet seen the Lighthouse video on this site (see Videos), it is powerful and not too long.
