I'm asking for prayers for my family. I am a mother of six children all grown up. One of them is the preacher in the church of Christ in Johannesburg, Kempton park and the other one is at the Bible college. My husband is living in Soweto where his preaching. So I'm asking for prayers for them not to give-up but press on.

Here is a note from Dalana Squires on a prayer request from someone in the clothes closet ministry.

"I also have a special prayer request for the family of Tammie Garza, one of our Clothes Closet customers. Her father Robert Garza passed away, and her mother Marie is having a reallly hard time with it. Tammie's boys were also very close to their Grandfather, and need the prayers of the Church. A little history about Tammie......about 4 months ago, the last few times she had come to the Clothes Closet, she had been physically abused and really beat up (and trying to hide it). I had been praying for her safety, and I hadn't seen her in so long, I was afraid the worst had happened. But she showed up today, and I was very happy to see her! She had moved away because of the abuse, and is now in a safe place, and her abuser is in jail! Unfortunately, her return to the area is for the funeral of her father. She needed funeral appropriate clothes for her family. This is a very sweet family. Prayers requested!"

We thank you for praying for us. We have been looking for place of worship in the past three weeks and it was not so easy for us. We visited the colleges near by and Hotels hoping that we will rent available hole but all in vain. Through prayers of the sants we are hoping to get a place for the Kempton park church of Christ in the city center. May His name be praised. Amen

Prayer request: We are asking for prayers from brotheren, we started a congregation in Kempton park South Africa. I was Preaching in Petoria, Olievenhoutbosch before moving to Kempton park Johannesburg. Kempton park is a busy and fast growing town of Gauteng. Is less than 5km away from the Johannesburg Airport. We are now looking for place to worship and we are only finding place we can not afford to rent. the frist sunday survice we where 20 in number meeting in someone's house in the last two weeks the room we are using it can not acommodating us anylonger. Please pray for us that God can touch those who can help us out with a place of worship and hym books.
