Hi friends!  I'm very excited that I have the opportunity to serve in Let's Start Talking this July for one week at FriendsCamp in Natal, Brazil!!  FriendsCamp is a project where our team will go to Natal the last week of 12 weeks of reading.  We invite all the readers, church members and my LST team to go to a campsite for a retreat!  We will play games, do crafts, go hiking, as well as have small group sessions where we facilitate discussions on the questions that Jesus asked.  This allows the church members time to really bond with the readers and to solidify some ideas/commitments they're considering because of their exposure to the Word.

Everyone who participates in Let's Start Talking projects raises a portion of the funds to cover all the projects that will happen this year.  In order for me to participate in this project I need to raise $2200.  Funds go toward training, supervision, airfare, food, lodging, camp fees, crafts and development materials. 

I'm asking for your help in two ways.  First in prayer, that God would bring to me the readers with which He would have me interact and befriend.  Pray that God would help me to share of myself as I share about Jesus.  Also, please pray that God would bring forth the funds necessary for this ministry commitment I made. 

Second, would you please prayerfully consider contributing to my mission trip?  Would you give $100 to facilitate a reader's hearing the Word of God perhaps for the first time?
