Event Description

When we are seeking God, there are many questions that come to mind, including:
- Who is God, and what is he like?
- Where do we come from? Why do we exist?
- If there is a God, why does my life and the world seem so messed up?
- Does God have a plan for my life and for my family?
- Who is Jesus, and what does it mean to follow him?
The Story of Redemption is specifically written for those who are seeking God, and it assumes no prior Bible knowledge or church background. Everyone is welcome!

These neighborhood Bible studies are happening all over your area, including Melissa! RSVP NOW to explore or join this study, which will meet on Wednesday nights for 8 weeks, from 6:45-7:45 PM. Find God, faith, community, and friends in this life changing study! The first meeting on Wed., Sept. 15, will be at the "Bird's Nest" clubhouse building. (See address and map below).

Comment by James Nored on September 11, 2010 at 9:17am: Becki and I went out with Sandy and Cindy Detherage on Thursday night to invite their neighbors. We put flyers on many of the doors, but Sandy and Cindy did meet several of their neighbors, who were all very friendly. We are going to go back Sunday evening around 6 PM out there, knocking on doors and asking them if they would attend (we'll get a count). All are welcome to join us for this, or spend the day/evening inviting their own neighborhood. I will have the flyers on Sunday to give out to our group.

Comment by James Nored on September 11, 2010 at 9:14am: This is who we have confirmed for this study: Sandy and Cindy Detherage from Melissa, David and Roxanne Ledbetter from Melissa, Armando and Cindy Moncada from Melissa, and James and Becki Nored. We also hope to have join us:
- People from the Detherage's neighborhood
- Ryan and Claudia Newhouse may join us and help invite their neighborhood and the Ledbetter neighborhood
- Debra Arvin and her teenage son Jacob. They live out in the country, not too far from Melissa.
Let's pray that God opens hearts for this study.
