Twitter and TweetUp Brings Wiccan To Church

Last month, Pastor Steve Shears of Current Church in Ormond Beach, FL came to a tweetup (a gathering of people who are on twitter).

At this tweetup he met Kelly (she goes by @PaganKelly on Twitter). Her profile on Twitter states that she is a “Wiccan”.

After the tweetup, Steve (@steveshears), his wife Rachel (@rachelshears) and fellow Christ Follower Ben Boles (@btotheetothen) began communicating with Kelly through Twitter.

Yesterday, Kelly and Pastor Steve’s wife Rachel organized a familytweetup picnic for people on Twitter who have children.

Last night, Kelly came to Pastor Steve’s church in Ormond Beach, FL.
