In an attempt to be good stewards of the Food Pantry, we recently made the decision to give smaller bags of groceries every other week. The small bags contain rice, beans, peanut butter, jelly and cereal. The other two weeks of the month, we give larger bags which contain those items plus canned
vegetables, fruit, soup, mac & cheese, spaghetti and sauce and canned chicken or tuna. This week was the small bag week and I prayed that the small amount of groceries would still be a blessing
to those in need. God blessed our efforts through Market Street who donates to us weekly. The amount of produce they gave us this week was doubled and filled 67 small bags to the top with packaged salad and fresh fruit. God always provides.

What are your thoughts?  Should we give 60+ large bags of groceries every week or try to be good stewards by rationing our food supply to make it go farther so we can feed more people? Or is it a lack of faith that God will continue to provide as he has always done in the past?

Either way....God will provide.
Linda, as Dalana indicates, God will surely bless either decision. You could continue with this plan, and then pray expectantly for God to provide more.
