Alycia. Dalana Squires is the best one to answer these, I'm sure. But in case she is not on today, maybe I can help. What questions do you have?
in my research...i have noticed that a family would need a voucher or a referral to get what is needed out of the clothes closet... i was wondering how your closet is ran ... if you had some info you could send me... like dates times, number of clothes that are allowed per family... even if you have a referral or a copy of a voucher that i could look at -that i could use to modify and make changes.... maybe your rules and procedures for your closet.... any info at this point would be so helpful... thanks...

Alycia, if you look in this group (click on Clothes Closet Outreach), you can see some of the ways that we handle the Clothes Closet ministry. There is also a link there to the High Pointe Church of Christ website with some additional information. I think this will cover some of the questions you have here.

We allow 15 items per family, and our clothes closet is open once per week to the public. We do not require a voucher. I don't think that there are a lot of other rules, but Dalana can give more information.

Where do you live? Would this be part of a church ministry for you? May God bless your heart and efforts!
I live in Mountainburg Arkansas... Small town... I am a member of Mountainburg First assembly of God. MFA... my husband is the associate pastor there. we also do tons with the youth. I am also a teacher in the middle school... small low income town and school... My church is a very big part of community outreach here in mountainburg. And we love it... We do not have room in the church for this...so we (myself and another teacher who is also a member of MFA) are going to try and get it going at the school. But I know the church will be a huge part of it all.Just wanting to get all my p's and q's in line before i present it to the school board... all rules and procedures in print... I will see what i can figure out from the site... thanks....
