Thanks to the donations from our church members, and the generous donations from the McKinney/Allen Just Between Friends Sale, we were able to serve many this week!  Of the many families served, one was a family with 6 children whose home burned in Anna.  Another family with 5 children, had just moved quickly away from an unsafe home with just the clothes on their backs.  They had been going to school for a week with the same clothes.  The family is starting life anew, and the mother is in a program that helped her into a new job and a home of their own.  The Clothes Closet was able to outfit both family's children with a new fall wardrobe!

Dalana, thank you for the update! It is great to see a broad partnership here, with our members and Just Between Friends donating clothes. And I'm so glad that we were able to help the family whose house burned down. Do you have their contact information? Can you send it to me? I would like to follow-up with them.

 

This ministry is helping so many, and it is very key to our outreach efforts. Thank you for your work in this ministry.
