Thankyou for the generous donations of elementary aged clothing this week! There were a lot of happy parents shopping!

I also have a special prayer request for the family of Tammie Garza, one of our Clothes Closet customers. Her father Robert Garza passed away, and her mother Marie is having a reallly hard time with it. Tammie's boys were also very close to their Grandfather, and need the prayers of the Church. A little history about Tammie......about 4 months ago, the last few times she had come to the Clothes Closet, she had been physically abused and really beat up (and trying to hide it). I had been praying for her safety, and I hadn't seen her in so long, I was afraid the worst had happened. But she showed up today, and I was very happy to see her! She had moved away because of the abuse, and is now in a safe place, and her abuser is in jail! Unfortunately, her return to the area is for the funeral of her father. She needed funeral appropriate clothes for her family. This is a very sweet family. Prayers requested!
