Hey all,

I'm looking for resources touching spiritual formation toward missional identity and praxis.  Darrel Guder recommended Bosch's "A Spirituality for the Road".  Any other suggestions?

Also, I'm curious about the insights I might gain in this direction from Benedictine and Ignatian traditions...thoughts?

Christopher, one of the best books on this that I have read through is Subversive Spirituality: Transforming Mission through the Collapse ... by Paul Jenson. In this work, Jenson looks at the missional and spiritual formation rhythms of Jesus' life--how we would do mission, then retreat for a time with God, and then go right back out on mission. A great, scholarly type of work that could be practically applied.
Christopher, how did you come to study missional spiritual formation?
I loved reading Living God's Love by Earl Lavander and Garry Holloway. It is about God's love and how it motivates us to live for Him.
