Women United in Recovery

We had a small group today but a good one. We really need to advertise the Women United in Recovery Group in the McKinney newspaper. A very sad story from one of our ladies. They lost their adult daughter 2 years ago from alcoholism. She had an 8 year old son. Yesterday the father died from complications of alcoholism & the Grandparents are on their way to pick up the little boy & bring him here to live with them from Kansas City. They are the neighbors & good friend of Barbara,one of the ladies who attended the Womens' retreat. The little boy is Michael. Please keep him & the Grandparents in your prayers. Also Paige one of our teenagers is out of the hospital & doing much better! She is working & going to school.
