Hey! I just recently joined the Missional Outreach Network after my sis (Debra Arvin) invited me. I'm looking forward to great discussions about the Way with those who know the Way or are on their way.
A little about me. I have the privilege of preaching and ministering at the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ in Sherwood, Arkansas. I'm married and have two grown daughters and two adopted boys. Like my sister, I'm a softy for God's creative work with canines. My family and I have volunteered with two different rescue groups and have fostered and then adopted out 51 dogs over a 3 year period! It's great to see how a down and out dog can recover with a lot of love and care. To me they are a visual of what God can do with precious souls when we allow Him to rescue us. Patient redirecting of our bad habits, the loving embrace of a master, and peaceful rest goes a long way to reinvigorating our souls as well!
