thanks
Bruno Serra.
Great to hear from you! I'm doing great. I too enjoyed the class. It was one of those rare times when everyone really jelled and conversation flowed freely. Keith and Todd were great facilitators for this class.
It has been very busy for me the past couple weeks. It's the end of the semester and I am grading papers for my classes. I submitted my proposed paper topic yesterday, but have not heard back yet. I would like to write on a theme I find very interesting in many postliberal theologians; narrative theology - "the morality of remembering: scripture as narrative"
I think this approach has been picked up by many postmoderns/emerging church folks. The problem is that it does not relate directly to my current ministry, so we'll see if Keith approves it.
In my fellowship, we have always emphasized practices such as baptism and weekly Lord's Supper. These were out of style for a long time, but are now coming back in as people seek more ancient ritual. It is interesting to see what we have been doing for a long time suddenly become popular. I would assume that some of this would hold true for mainliners on these practices.
When I started looking through it tonight, I thought you might enjoy it.
Don't forget to join the "Ministry in the Postmodern Matrix" group--and add some good content for us!
By the way, the Newhart video on this site (Stop It!) is hilarious.
