About me
I graduated from Sunset School of Preaching (now Sunset International Bible Institute) in 1970 at age 36, married and three children. After 2 1/2 years in Colorado, moved to a new mission work in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Preached for this congregation for 29 years until "retirement" in December 2001. Now live in Hendersonville, NC where I also serve as one of 5 elders for the church there.
My wife, Mary, and I were married 52 years this past July -- 2009. We have 11 grandchildren. Six are adopted and love them all. Somehow, so far, we all manage to get together about once a year. It's great!
It seems to me that the world has never been in greater need of the gospel than it is now. On the whole, we haven't been doing a very good job of reaching our postmodern generations with the good news of Jesus Christ. Maybe Missional Network will provide some stimulating ideas.
