My life is always filled with relationships. From a young age my family life was filled with a large family; Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Friends. Our small home was filled with people coming and going of all ages. As an adult I became an account executive and five days a week my life was filled with people! Eventually I moved to a 2nd state and did the same. New relationships, new people!
During my many years in the workplace, my many relationships required different levels of closeness. Some were close, many acquaintances and others were only professional. Today I continue to live a life filled with relationships from global travel to a growing online community. I am a firm believer that God's word from Genesis to Revelation speaks to us about relationships. We read about the life of people in grief, victories, sadness, joy, anger, frustration, discouragement, sister and brother problems, marriage successes and struggles, and celebration to name a few.
As I write this I am in a new season of life, as I move to a new area to plant/start a church. I am also preparing to relaunch the Relationship workshop and hopeful that in the future the workshop will also be available online. I am a lady who is comfortable in many different denominations. I stand on God's word instead of denomination affiliation, and at the same time I see the value in denominations. I am reminded that God calls us to unity and we are blessed when we live this way, even when we have differences in biblical interpretation. As the old saying goes, "I don't major in the minors, I major in the majors."
The following is one of my favorite passages. It reminds me of how God sees us when we are in unity with our brothers and sisters in Christ. "How good and pleasant is it when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the bard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows hi blessing, even life forever more." (Psalm 133 NIV)
Yes, that's me I am all about relationship. To hear more about this relationship focus of mine go to the video I placed on the Mission Outreach Network called; "The Relationship Project."
Oh yes, and I am always open to dialogue.
