Help for Christschurch, struck by earthquake, in New Zealand

By now you no doubt have heard of the devastating earthquake that hit Christschurch, New Zealand on Feb. 21, killing 65 people. Click here for the Christian Chronicle article on this. High Pointe Church of Christ is the sponsoring congregation for the South Pacific Bible College in New Zealand. Here is a note from Brian Tinsley, our foreign evangelism deacon on the earthquake there and how people can help.

 

Dear Friends,

No doubt you are all aware of the tragic events that are continuing to unfold
as Christchurch suffered the earthquake this past week.  Many of you have
emailed asking after our family and brethren located there.  They are all safe,
although will most likely be damage to some of their houses or property.

If you would like to donate funds to help with the relief of brethren, family,
or the community in need, please observe the following instructions carefully.

Write the check to: South Pacific Ministries

With memo line containing: "Christchurch Earthquake"
