A. The new testament church started with prophecies, Tongues, Knowledge etc for growth, but today the Bible say Love
the churches of Christ elders try to used WBS, Bibles colleges, health mission and Christians book etc, But with small growth. the elders fails,
Love never fails, if we preach and teach love in the Churches:
the New commandments is love
i) my commandments John 14:15
ii) my commandments that love one another John 15:12
iii) If you love Jesus, we keep his word. John 14:23
B The New commandment I give to you is love John 13:34
i) How did we love one another?
ii) Which ways?
iii) Elders and preachers need to teach more about Love in the Churches.
C The purpose of the Bible is love
i) Now the purpose of the commandments is love I Tim 1:5
ii) Love your enemies matt 5:44
iii) A time to love Ecc 3:8
D With Love no Law? Gal 5:22-23
i) Do the elders in the Churches of Christ love the Church?
John 21:15-17
15 ¶ So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
Conclusion:
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. IJohn 4:18
