Missional Thought of the Day -We Need Missional Moms, Dads, Kids, and Churches

Program.

It doesn't have a good ring to it, does it? Why not?

Programs are often devoid of relationships. They become mechanistic, running people through something. The original visionaries and enthusiastic participants for the ministry may have passed on, but the "program" must go on. So people are drafted to run them and guilted to participate in them.

But perhaps most of all, programs are separated from everyday life.

There is a real danger in making missional another program--something that a church or person does every once in a while, in an impersonal way, outside of the normal rhythms of personal or church life.

Missional is a way of thinking and being, and we never set it aside. We are constantly seeking the lost, serving those around us, and finding ways to share Jesus with people--when we take our kids to soccer practice, interact with checkout tellers, and have backyard barbeques.

This is why I'm excited to see conferences and books being written on missional families. There is a new website, the missional mom, based upon a new book coming out on that name.

How can we make missional a part of our families and our daily lives?

Dear brother , I already shared about how i became christian and evangelist . yes, My mom led me in his way and taught to be missional . my Mom is being grounded in me about the missional related words since my childhood. I am always grateful to her for her good guidance in my life .
