Hi James! I have not forgotten about the Spiritual Gifts survey. It's been a complete whirlwind for me these past couple of months with family stuff, working part-time away from home, and also preparing and training with LST for my Russia trip. It's all coming together and it's ALL in God's strong hands! I'll definitely take the survey when I get back home from Moscow. Thanks for your reminder! :)

Hi James, I'm getting a bunch of emails every day from MON. Everytime someone posts on a group I'm subscribed to I get an email. I guess the more emails I get the better the groups are working, which is great, but I'm wondering if there's a way to streamline this. My wife is part of a listserve that has the option of sending one email per day that lists all the updates. Something like that would be great...and stop my phone beeping!!

Thanks for this ministry.

Hi James. The Women United in Recovery sadly has been dwindling in numers with only 1 or 2 women showing up. Lori said she was going to contact everyone & fnd out if there is another time that would be better to meet. She also mentioned maybe we should just incorporate the group into the Celebrate Recovery Womens Group. Sat am is tough for women with young children involved in sports etc.

Your welcome and thank you James. Yes, I'll do what I can to welcome each new person that comes on board MON. Summer is good. I met a couple from HP three weeks ago. The couple are friends and supporters of a couple who graduated from Sunset two weeks ago. God bless.

Fundraising is going AWESOME! I only have $30 left to "raise", and a co-worker gave that to me in cash the other day, so it's merely matter of sending that donation in to LST. Thanks for asking!

Hey Jared...
Thanks so much for the warm welcome. Kenya is in good shape apart from the economic depression experienced all over the world. Actually my interest here includes networking with more christian friends especially those who are in various missions and be able to offer any kind of help that they might require from me anytime if within my capability...i understand that they too will be quite essential in my social, spiritual and even physical life.
Thanks once again and God bless.

Greetings, James. It was good being with you at the coaching lab and on the tour to areas with your church leaders. What are some steps forward with High Pointe?

On a personal level, how is your family doing? Has McKinney been good for the family?

I appreciate your relationship with Hobby. He is one of three Mission Alive church planters going through the Missio internship called MCAP. I am ministering as a coach in training with these men. Do you know MIssio, MCAP, and the especially The Tangible Kingdom Primer.

Blessings,

Gailyn

It went well. Just 3 of us were there, but we had a nice time talking about the book and upcoming book ideas. I will post a summary in the discussion. Glad to help with this.

Thanks James.

I am the national director for the Nazarene Organic Church Network. We live in McKinney and are launching a network of churches here.

I also am a project manager for the State of Texas in the fight against Sex Trafficking in the state. This is a project funded through a grant through Houston Rescue and Restore awarded to Concerned Women of America as a subgrantee for this project.

Let's visit.

James,

I was in that same graduate class with you and Hobby. You don't remember me? Just kidding...don't feel bad, I did not remember who you were either.

Oh, and there's a pretty good chance we have other mutual friends. I spent nearly three years working alongside the Park Avenue Church in Denison and still have a number of friends in that US-75 North Central corridor, esp those who work for churches in and around your neck of the woods. I have family still living in Denison and make it out that way whenever I can.

James, thanks for the warm welcome. Hobby and I met not long after I left fullt-time professional ministry and moved to Searcy. We became close friends and shared many hours of kingdom dreaming together during the year-and-a-half before he moved to Denver. We still speak regularly and share a kind of common vision for the life of God's people as missional community.

As for me, after 15 years of congregational church work, I know have an interesting life of kingdom living that is expressed in whatever things God seems to show us to do. I teach some adjunct Bible at Harding. I work for an exciting non-profit group that does economic development projects in East Africa. I build conversational community among mission-and-justice focused students. I lead a group of adults and students trying to live out the mission of God in our part of Searcy. And I look for whatever opportunities God may offer me to teach, inspire, write, lead, serve, love, speak, worship, engage, imagine, eat, drink, party, laugh, cry, pray, live or die in ways that reflect the gospel-formed life to which I have been called in Jesus.

It's an adventure of sorts.
