Wow that's amazing. Thanks for sharing that with me. Well, that's cool too how you worked with so many different age groups. I really like soccer and we started a soccer team there at Highland Oaks which brought a lot of people to church and families as well! We also started a Hispanic Youth group which we gave the name F.C.C. Fuerza Cristiana Conquistadora or Force of Christian Conquerors. We went to Youth Group events, conferences, had car washes, garage sales, soccer games, lockins ( of which one about 100 people came!) volleyball nights, we have served and I also helped lead small groups, Wed Night Classes and Sunday mornng lasses. It was fun and I learned a lot about leadership. One day, I was at a church, and noticed how small Hispanic Group was at a local church,the Anglo group had a huge auditorium and the hispanic group was a small classroom on the side, it was in the corner and I asked myself, why isn't there a bigger one, why can't it be it's own church!? So, it was this that my dad heard and really started encouraging me to dig deep into this. And ever since, I have been looking working on Hispanic Leadership. The need is there, hispanics are growing, Latinos are already the largest minority group and the numbers are to be increasing and so we need to change how the hispanic group views itself and challenge leadership to them.

Danny, I am really glad that you are in the Story of Redemption training class on Wednesday night. I know that God is going to use you to lead many people to Christ. You are a great encouragement to me!
