Jas Gilbreath, wife of Louis Gilbreath, was baptized into Christ at the High Pointe Church of Christ on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. Jas grew up in India and met her Christian husband online. After she came to the US, she went to a "High Pointe in the Park" gathering. There she Christians, was invited to go through the Story of Redemption, and several months later made the decision to follow Jesus. Praise God!

Bill, I am blessed to be able to help encourage people to reach out in this way. Yes, it is amazing how God has brought the mission field to us. That is good, because I have a missionary's heart. Thank you for your constant encouragement and prayer for all of this.

We talk about mission work usually meaning far-away places. In my own neighborhood I have been amazed at the number of people around me coming from the Northern states, some from Mexico. Sometimes I feel frustrated because I cannot speak the language of Mexico or India! May we recognize the opportunities around us where people may be waiting to be told of the Good News.
