In my recent trip to California and the Northwest meeting church planters and training a cohort of churches in outreach and mission, I interviewed Scott Wallace, church planter for Renovo Church, a Church of Christ plant that was planted through Kairos in Puyallup, Washington, which is about 35 miles south of Seattle.
In this interview, Scott talks about why most churches are not connecting with Millennials, and what it is about church plants and church planters that some Millennials find attractive. Scott tells the story of Tim, a Millennial who responded to a Craigslist ad that the church posted, looking for people who were not going to church. Through this, Tim came to faith and was baptized into Christ.
