Here is an
excellent interview by Ed Stetzer of Hugh Halter, co-author of the Tangible Kingdom and "AND," about their work, the Tangible Kingdom Primer.
The Tangible Kingdom Primer is a work for small groups that combines spiritual formation and missional living. In it, small groups learn how to live missionally, rather than making missional a program.
In this interview, Hugh talks about how challenging it is for many to begin to be obedient to the missional call. For instance, just going over and talking to a neighbor required one Christian to have to apologize to his neighbor over an old grievance, and he ended up being invited inside for tea.
This is powerful stuff, and I know that church planters are using this in their small group training. I hope that established churches will do the same.
Have you read or used the Tangible Kingdom Primer? What did you think?
