Topics for Group Discussion

Welcome to Family Solutions group.  I hope you will find our discussions beneficial.  To kick things off, I would like to hear from you.  I will plan on posting a new discussion topic from time to time, but this group is as much about you as it is me.  So, please, provide me with 3 or 4 topics that you would like to see discussed in this forum.  They can be topics related to personal/individual issues or dilemmas (e.g., depression, pornography addiction, etc.) as well as topics focused on relationships (marriage, parenting, etc). I look forward to our discussions.

Josh, I would look forward to discussions on:
- How to reach out through marriage and family issues
- Depression. With the economic challenges, job losses, etc., many are suffering from this for the first time
- Resources for improving marriages, both on an individual level and on a church and community level

I also think that issues of addiction are very much needed today... both in how to overcome addictions of our own and how to truly be of help to others who are addicted (which takes so many forms ...but you know the list!)

I think there could be interest in an article or two on outreach to those who are mentally ill ...or at least on the edge. How does one find resources to help others find the help they need?

Josh, I'm looking forward to what you have to say. A few things I'd be interested in:
-Parenting the strong willed child. I have a 4 yr old boy who on certain days I'd be more than happy to ship to military school or something! ;)
-How to keep intimacy and romance a part of the relationship after years of marriage.
-Addictions and also ones that don't include alcohol or drugs.
