Hello Dear, How is everything with you,I picked interest on you after going through your short profile,I have something very vital to disclose to you,but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on(bruno2serra1964@gmail.com)for the full details. Have a nice day. thanks Bruno Serra.
Great to hear from you! I'm doing great. I too enjoyed the class. It was one of those rare times when everyone really jelled and conversation flowed freely. Keith and Todd were great facilitators for this class.
It has been very busy for me the past couple weeks. It's the end of the semester and I am grading papers for my classes. I submitted my proposed paper topic yesterday, but have not heard back yet. I would like to write on a theme I find very interesting in many postliberal theologians; narrative theology - "the morality of remembering: scripture as narrative"
I think this approach has been picked up by many postmoderns/emerging church folks. The problem is that it does not relate directly to my current ministry, so we'll see if Keith approves it.
Todd, liturgy is making a comeback, I believe. And the practices that Bass highlights seem to be en vogue these days, and have been practiced by mainliners for some time.
In my fellowship, we have always emphasized practices such as baptism and weekly Lord's Supper. These were out of style for a long time, but are now coming back in as people seek more ancient ritual. It is interesting to see what we have been doing for a long time suddenly become popular. I would assume that some of this would hold true for mainliners on these practices.
Hey Todd. I was wondering if you had read Christianity for the Rest of Us? I picked it up at Fuller. It looks at vital mainline congregations in contrast to evangelical churches, seeking to show their value in emphasizing hospitality, contemplation, diversity, justice, discernment, and worship.
When I started looking through it tonight, I thought you might enjoy it.

Todd, I'll be back on a little later. I'm about to check in with the family I'm staying with. Surf around, upload a video, picture, join or start a discussion.
By the way, the Newhart video on this site (Stop It!) is hilarious.

Todd, I like your Yaconelli quote.
Maybe we'll start a Dobson group here for you. :)
