**An update to the Cortez/Garza family who lost their home in a fire. Members have been steadily calling me and taking items and furniture to the family. I called Isabel (the contact for the family) yesterday to let her know of a washer/dryer set that she could get for free. She broke down crying! She said she was overwhelmed with the generousity and love shown by the members of our church. She told me that we are practicing "true religion" by helping the poor and homeless like we do. She has been truly touched and could not thank the Church enough. For those who would still like to donate items, Isabel's number is 469-952-0017. She has part of the family living with her at 400 Settlers Bin, which is off of Bridgefarmer Rd. in McKinney.

Wow, Dalana. That is wonderful to hear how this family was touched by the church's generosity! There are few things that we can do to more than this to touch people's hearts. Thank you for helping to facillitate this!
