Honor the King - Funny Bush Moments

Hi guys. Tomorrow I'm preaching on submission from 1 Peter 2:13f. In this passage, Peter says to "honor the king." (2:17). I found this funny video on Bush quotes. What do you think? What is the appropriateness of political satire, humor, etc. in light of this passage?

If we are going to honor the king and pray for those in authority, and we recognize that all authority that exists has been established by God and is his minister, then we should examine things such as this. It is inappropriate for children to mock their parents, it is inappropriate for soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines to mock their sergeants and officers, so why would it be okay to mock the President, especially for Christians?

John, could it be that our attitude behind this is what matters? I could see my kids putting together a bloopers real of my life--or even my speaking--and I would laugh. But I know that they love and respect me. If they had malice or disrespect for me, this would be a different story.
