FriendSpeak Training August 29
The training seminar for FriendSpeak volunteers will take place on Saturday, August 29th, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. Ben Woodward, national head of FriendSpeak, will be here to conduct the session.
We still need some more volunteers, so there's room for YOU. Just let me know your wishes. You need not be a Bible scholar to participate in FriendSpeak. Just a willingness to share yourself and the story of Jesus with a new friend.

- Hi Jim. We are excited about the re-start of the FriendSpeak ministry! We are asking most of our outreach teams to post a weekly update/discussion of their ministry in their group on the Missional Outreach Network (MON). This would be the FriendSpeak group for you.
We use these updates/discussions to share stories and pictures of how people are people touched by this ministry, who is involved, etc. This increases visibility for the ministry, inspires people, and helps them to say "Yes!" when personally asked to be a part.
These updates/discussions are fed into Facebook and other RSS feeders, helping to spread these ministries virally around the web. Finally, we use these to update our bulletin, again helping to increase visibility, inspire, etc.
Could you start a new discussion/update in the MON FriendSpeak group once a week? This would be great! Thanks!

Jacob was so concerned for you when I told him about your accident. He was like, "Funny, Jim?" I had to tell him yes. We both are so concerned for you and are praying for you constantly! Jacob had 2 pins in his elbow a few years ago so he sympathizes with you on a very minor level!
We love you and miss your smiling face at church!
