Yes- I believe that our God is a God of order. Many times I hear people say that they got an idea "from God" and are going head-first towards taking action. Now, I am not saying that God doesn't prompt people through various means (people, the Holy Spirit, praying), but as we are to worship and use our heart and strength- we are also to use our mind.

Before Esther approached her husband, the King, she and her servants fasted for 3 days. Now, I haven't fasted that much, and I'm not saying that before taking an action you must wait a few days. I am saying that our outreach will probably be more effective with prayer and some planning.

Recently my coach (I am doing some coaching sessions with a great servant. He is my "Mordecai," listening and helping me grow spiritually. Also, I want to use my gifts and his wisdom to share my faith with others in a loving, open way. I have been praying for a few friends who are searching. I have been thinking and writing down ways in which my family and I can get together with those people during the week and build the relationships. In the suburbs, we don't even see our neighbors that much, much less folks who live across town.

Tonight, one family is attending our Lifegroup. Also, my wife's friend (single mom with 2 kids) is coming. She is searching for hope. We praise God that we have an opportunity to build relationships with others and also share the hope we have in Him. Please pray for the people in your life who you have an opportunity to share with.

It is amazing. The closer I walk with Him, my choices are easier. I am getting more rest, losing weight, not having regrets

A single mom and her kids came to our lifegroup. They had a great time. We also have some other friends who are excited to worship with us and for their kids to experience KOW time.

Hi Matt. Great point about about Esther preparing and the need to pray and prepare for outreach. We need both planning and openness to the Spirit's leading.

I am thrilled about the family who is planning to attend your lifegroup. Let us know how it went. You can also use the prayer group on this site to ask for prayers to be offered up.
